Edward Show Debut! / Edward ショーデビュー！

エドワードのショーデビューは、2009年11月に開催されたSCCのショーでした。　
キツンクラスで同胎のスカーレッとと共に参加。　


エドワード、月齢にして6ヶ月。

実は、このエドワードとスカーレットのショーデビューを一番待ち焦がれていたのは、私自身でした。
何の根拠もなかったのですが、二人がどう評価されるのか考えただけでわくわくしてしまい、ショーの一週間前ぐらいから審査風景をいろいろ想像してばかりいた次第です。

私は当日は2日間ともローラ C.ジャッジの通訳で、二匹の活躍を見る事はできませんでした。
通路をせわしなく行き来するエドの姿を見て、いい結果であれば・・・と祈り続けてました。

2日間のショーで、12リング。
ファイナルには7回残ることができました。

SCCの会員さんはメインクーンのブリーダーさんが多く、またアメリカから来たジャッジのローラはメインクーンのブリーダーということもあり、ショーに参加したメインクーンの頭数が普段より多かった中、素晴らしい結果となりました。
各リングでものびのびと寛いで、家に居るときと変わらぬ自然体。
すでに、大物の予感です。
正直、結果よりも、「こんなに素敵に大きく育ちました！」と、エドとスーの実家の湯本さんやいろいろな方達に見ていただきたいというのが素直な気持ちでした。

預かった子達は、ちゃんと立派になったでしょうか？

外国人ジャッジはそんなに頻繁に日本のショーにはいらっしゃらないので、世界のメインクーンを見ている方達から、この二人がどう見えるのか。　どう評価されるのか、それも知りたい事のひとつでした。
そして、山崎哲氏に撮影していただくことも。

でも、実際のハイライトは、何と言っても3兄弟/姉妹が一緒のリングでファイナル・インしたことでした！

本当に思い出深いショートなりました。

この後は、エドも、スーも暫くショーをお休みします。
次回は2010年2月の参加予定。
クラスは“チャンピオンシップ”となります。

最初で最後のキツンクラス。

素晴らしい思い出のショーとなりました。



Edward's show debut was the SCC Cat show held in Nov. 2009.

He attended the Kitten Class with his litter sister Scarlett.

Edward and Scarlett, at age of 6 months.

Well to tell the truth I was the very one who was really excited and waiting for this day.

The was no reason but something was really pushing me forward.
I was imaging how they would look like and do at the ring everyday.

I myself was with Laura C.Judge for  both days, doing the interpreting role, so had no chance how they were doing.

Just was chasing Edward moving from the ring to the next, and was just crossing my finger fro the best.
There were totally 12 rings for 2 days show and he was finalized at 7 rings.

As SCC chairman herself is a Maine Coon breeder, quite number of MC was attending the show.


And also Laura C. judge herself is a MC breeder and running a cattery,  I was really expecting of her comment.

In that situation, Edwards did very well.

Edwards was showing his original personality, relaxing and was enjoying the show very much is what I heard from my husband.

He was exactly same as he is at our place.
This must be a great gift that he has.
Of course the result was really good, but my honest feeling was:


Really first time? / ショーにデビューしたて？



" How is Edward? He is growing big, warm and self conscious

Are you satisfied about letting us have him?"

I wanted Ms. Yumoto of Cattery Chatile to be really happy about him.

"The kittens I received from her are now being so beautiful!" maybe the message I wanted to deliver at this debut show.

As oversea judges does not attend the show in Japan so often, I wanted to hear about the current situation overseas and how and what they though about the MC's breded in Japan.

And also of course the photo session by Mr. Testu Yamazaki too.

But the real "something" was different!

Edward, Scarlett and there same litter sister were awarded at Laura's ring!

Brown Classic Tabby Chatile Chichi in her own breeder Ms. Yumoto's arm, Edward being held by my husband, Laura and me with Scarlett.

This was the most memorable thing at this show.

Edward and Scarlett are to take 2 months brake.
There next plan are to attend the Championship from next year.
The very firs and the last show as a kitten.
