今年の9月に京都にお引っ越しした桔梗丸君ことキョンキョン君。
クリスマスイヴに、キョンキョンのママから素敵なプレゼントが届きました。
それは、何枚かの写真。
上の写真はお引越した当日。
キャンキョン君の新しいお家のお姉さんとの写真。
猫と人。
同じ言葉を話す訳ではないけれど、“心が通じ合う”ってこういうことかも。
目をつぶっているキョンキョン君。
お姉さんの頬に手を添えて・・・
「これからは、ボクが貴方を守るから・・・」
「ずーっと、一緒だから・・・」
「ボクは君達に出会えてよかった！ 君はボクに出会えて良かった？」
「ボクは君達に出会えてよかった！ 君はボクに出会えて良かった？」
そんな思いを込めてお姉さんの頬に手をあてているようで。
幸せとは、言葉で表現する必要がない至福の時。
小さな騎士の誕生の瞬間のように感じます。
京都からママがお迎えに来てくれた時、自分からキャリーにさっさと入ったキョンキョン君。
人も猫を選ぶけれど、猫も人を選ぶのだと感じました。
でも猫が人を選ぶのは、外見ではないはず。
その人の気持ちの温かさや、優しさとか・・・
きっと我々人間とは全く違う基準で選ぶのだと思います。
そして、本当に素晴らしい出会いができると、心を開いた行動を取ってくれるのだと。
キョンキョン君のこの写真も、きっとその表現方法のひとつ。

Kyonkyon(ex. Henry) has moved to Kyoto this September.
We received a very heart warm picture and a e-mail from his mother.
Above pic became one of my favorite.
This one was taken on the very day he moved to Kyoto.
Kitten and a teenage girl ( Kyonkyon's mom's daughter).
They never share the same language, but seems communicating by "Soul to Soul".
Kyonkyon, closing his eyes, putting his front paws on the cheek of hers is like;
" I am always on your side"
"From now on, I am your knight, I swear"
" I am grad that I found you. Are you happy finding me?"
I feel like he is touching her with saying above.
A time to remember, sometimes no words to be needed.
And it is just like a moment of the birth of the "Little Knight".
When his new mom came to pick him, he himself entered the carry bag.
People may choose the kittens, but not only them.
Kittens also choose by themselves, is what I believe.
But the difference is they do not choose others by how they look like.
May be the warmness, kindness etc.
And when they find out their real partner, they start to communicate like above.
And this pic may be one of the good sample.
