3月6日の参加以来本当に久しぶりの参加となりました。
国内、海外含めいろいろな方達から「日本は必ず立ち上がる、立ち上がれる」という声をいただき、自分も力を得られることのできた日々でした。
そんな中、TICAの日本支部は被災した方達の現状、交通事情等いろいろなことを考慮して7本のキャット・ショーを中止しました。
日本のTICAジャッジや知り合いの猫仲間さん達が幸いにも無事にしているということは耳にはしておりましたが、それでもどのような日々を過ごしているのかは、正直気がかりでもありました。
しかし、知り合いの方でも身内や知人の方を亡くされた方達もいらっしゃり、あらためて震災の大きさを感じる場でもありました。
昨日は台風による生憎の雨の中、それでも匹の猫達が一堂に介し、久々のショーでお互いの無事を確認しあうことができました。
5月から新年度も始まったということもあり、猫達の顔ぶれも大分変わった気もしました。
リング数は8。
キツンは総数13頭。
チャンピオンクラスは33頭。
アルターは11頭。
ハウス・ホールドが2頭。

わが家からは、“ホット・レッド・から揚げ君”のヴィクターが参加しました。
昨年の秋以来の2回目のショー。
前回はキツンでしたが、今回はすでに生後10ヶ月。
チャンピオン・クラスでのデビューとなりました。
今回の見所は、なんと言ってもメインクーン！
チャンピオン参加のMCは総勢12頭。
実は驚くべきはMCの数ではなく“カラー・クラス”。
12頭居て、カラーが11種類！
これは、ちょっとしたMCのカラー図鑑状態でした。
そして、これだけの数がそろうと誰かが誰かの親戚猫で、ヴィクターの母違いの姉妹も2頭いました。
今までも二桁を超えるメインクーンが参加したショーはありましたが、これだけカラーが多岐に渡るのははじめて。
定番のブラック・シルバーやブラウンが一頭ずつで、ハイ・ホワイト、クリーム、レッド、ブラック・・・
目にも鮮やかでした（笑）
肝心のヴィクターですが、ベンチでは寝こけ、リング後ろの控えのケージに移動する時にはケージから出されることに全力で抵抗していました。
早い話がショーには全く興味がないようで・・・
そんな状態でしたが、土居ジャッジのリングでファイナルに残り、AB5位をいただきました。
ウェンディの一人っ子として育ち、キツンでショーに1回参加。
約半年振りのショー。
間が開きすぎたこと、もとからのんびり暮らすのが好きなタイプの子であること。
そんな彼がファイナルに入ってくチャンピオンになれただけでも、もう十分です。
ということで、早いけれどヴィクターは、ショーは引退。
ヴィック、お疲れさま。
楽しい時間を過ごさせてくれてありがとう。
いっぱいの猫親戚にも会えたけれど、誰が誰かわからないままだったね、きっと。
ヴィクターの妹も生まれたし、6月にはまた子猫が産まれる予定でもあります。
しばらくは、ちびっ子軍団に囲まれそうな予感。
今年も、忙しい年になっています（笑）
This time’s show was the annual show for the new term 2011-2012.
We felt that we haven’t attended the show for so long.
More than 2 months had passed since March 6th, which we attended last time with Judith.
6 days later from the BCF Cat Show, the “2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake” has occurred and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster followed it.
Not only nation wide, but also from all over the world, people living in Japan has received strong messages. And those encouraged me also.
I really would like to thank all again about sending us the message and would like to keep in mid that “No living life is never alone!”
And I would like to pray not only for Japan, but also for all the “Lives” that are facing hard time now.
7 shows which TICA Japan has scheduled were canceled because of this.
I was lucky to know that all the TICA related whom I know was alright but some of them lost their loving ones.
Even hearing that my friends are OK, still it was quite a worry till I saw them face to face.
So this times show had a meaning of gathering not only as usual, but had more.
As New Year has started from May, it seemed that the members has changed.
Total rings were 8.
Number of kittens were8 , Championship 33 , Alter class 11 and 2 HHP.
From us, “Hot Red” Victor joined the show.
There were shows that more than 10 Maine Coons were attending in the past.
But having wide variation of color was the first time to see.
Standard colors like “Black Silver” and “Brown”, there were only one attending.
High White, Cream, Red, Black Solid, Blue Solid…
And about Victor himself, he was sleeping in the cage and whenever he had to move to the ring from his home place, he was really struggling not to move!
He had no interest about “SHOW”. It seemed he does not think showing himself as fun.
Grew up as Wendy’s only child, attend the show last Autumn which is already 6 months ago, and most of all having a easy going personality, he is not a show type.
So his debut to the Champion was also the final show for him.
If he is not happy we never can be happy too.
So thanks Vic! Thank you for attending and congladurations for receiving the title of Champion.
I came to know you don’t like shows.
It is OK for us for we always want you guys to be happy as you could be.

There were so many relatives of yours at the show.
Your step sisters were there; your human grandma was there…
So many were gathering at the hall yesterday.
Vic’s younger sister has been born; she is growing in a quite fast speed.
And now, in beginning of June, some more babies are to born.
This year is already busy and will continue :-)
