9月10日と11日はわが家が所属しているショーナン・キャット・クラブの設立10周年の第21回目のショーでした。
本当は今年の3月に開催予定でしたが、未曾有の震災が起こり、この秋まで延期となっていました。
暑い夏が一応終わりを告げ、朝晩は涼しい秋風が吹くようになった9月。
横浜の日石ホールにて2日間に渡っての開催でした。
わが家からは、Amangroup Sally of PopokilaniとPopokilani Cynthiaの二匹の女の子がデビューしました。
サリーは、今年6月に滋賀からお迎えした子。
シンディー（シンシア）は、今年の5月にエドとウェンディの一粒種として生まれた子です。
ついこの間生まれた気さえするこの二匹、いつのまにやらショーに参加できる月齢となっていました。
シンディーはショー初日で満4ヶ月になったばかり。
キツン・クラスでは最年少の参加者となりました。
会場の日石ホールは通常東京で行われる日本橋の会場の倍ほど、大田区のPIOの会場よりも多少広いため同時に6リングの審査を行えるゆとりがあります。
一日6リング、二日間で12リング（AB×10、SP×2）の審査が行われました。
初日は設営のため、8時に現地集合。
ですが土曜日ということで交通量は多く、高速道路は事故渋滞。
朝の6時に出発では間に合わなく、集合時間より遅れて到着。
初日から情けない状態でのスタートでした。
二人のお嬢さん達は、はじめて見るショー会場やたくさんの人と猫さん達に萎縮してしまうかと思いきや、到着してすぐに朝ご飯をバクバク食べかなりリラックスした様子でした。
10時となりショーの開催。
5月よりクラブの代表が土居良子女史から太田氏にかわり、会長挨拶が終って審査が始まりました。
二匹が同じリングで審査を受けるため、猫の出し入れで結構ばたばた。
また各リングでの審査はメインクーンがほぼ最初に行われるため番号があがったらすぐ連れて行かなければならず、デビューの二匹は何をされるのかわからないまま審査の控え用ケージに運ばれていきました。

家人以外では初めての経験なので、後ろの左足はジャッジの体に蹴りを入れていて、右足は指が開いています（笑）
本人としては何をされるのかわからず、かなり緊張していたものと思われます。
それでも、メインクーンの子猫の中では一番（BOB1st)となりファイナル（決勝戦）に残りはじめてのロゼッタをいただきました。
シルバー・クラシック・トービーw/ホワイト（所謂三毛猫）の綺麗な毛並みを持つ子。
彼女を託してくださったブリーダーさんにもうれしい報告ができる瞬間でした。
メインクーンの子猫は初日は総勢5匹、キツン部門の総数は20頭に満たない数でしたが、それでも生後4ヶ月から8ヶ月未満の子猫達が参加しているぶん、月齢差で体の大きさの違い等があり月齢の若い子で勝ち残るのは中々難しい部分もあるかと思います。
サリーが評価されたのが本当にうれしい瞬間でした。

本人はロゼッタよりもおもちゃに気が入ってますが、とにかくこんな風に普段と変わりなく元気に過ごしていました。
この後も鶴岡ジャッジのAB(全猫種）リングで2ndベスト・キツンをいただくことができました。
本当にうれしい2本目の入賞となりました。
今回のショーのキツン部門の子猫さん達も皆素晴らしく、長毛、短毛の誰が勝っても不思議のないコンディションの子達ばかりでした。
出陳数が20頭前後だったため、入賞出来る子は5頭まで。
そして、土居ジャッジのSP（長毛、短毛別）リングで3rdの評価をいただきました。
思いがけない3本目のロゼッタ、デビューショーとしては素晴らしい結果となりました。
初日は、ファイナルに3回も残り疲れ果ててしまったようで、ショー2日目はサリーにしては珍しく静かにしていました。
それでも2日目のせいか、ポージングはなかなか決まって来ていたようです。
わたしは、クラークの仕事で他のリングを見学に行く事ができずでしたが。
2日目はメインクーンの子猫の顔ぶれも多少かわり、初日には居なかった子達が参加。
顔ぶれが変われば評価も変わるし、生後4ヶ月で2日間元気で居続けるのも大変なこと。
2日目の結果は、この紫のMCBFA(Maine Coon Breeders and Fanciers Association)リボン。こちらは、ジャッジが順位に関係無く、“マイ・チョイス”ということで下さったもの。
“いい子だね”ということで選ばれたのも、これもまた嬉しいことです。
シャンプーも嫌がらず、ドライヤーも冷風ならOKというサリー。
いつも楽しく、ご機嫌で、人も猫も好き。
この二日間はこんな素敵なサリーとの素晴らしい時間でした。
サリーの次のショーは未定。
生後8ヶ月を過ぎたらチャンピオンシップには参加するかもしれませんが、今しばらくは、とにかく少女の時代を健康に楽しく過ごしてもらう予定です。
サリー、二日間ありがとう。
そしてお疲れさまでした。
滋賀にいるサリーのママも凄く喜んでくれていたからね。
わが家に来てくれてありがとう。
これからも、毎日一緒に楽しく暮らそうね。
On Sep. 9th and 10th, Shonan Cat Club, which we belong held it's 10th year anniversary Cat Show. (Show itself was the 21st.)
It was planned to be held on this March, but of the disaster was postponed till now.
Already the season seems to have changed and in the morning and evening time cool wind is telling of the arrival of Autumn.
The Show was held at Nisseki Hall in Yokohama.
From our cattery, Amangroup Sally of Popokilani & Popokilani Cynthia (Daughter of Williamina Wendy of Popokilani & Chatile Edward of Popokilani) made the debut.
Sally joined our cattery this June for Amangroup in Shiga Pref. and Cynthia was born in May at our cattery.
Still feeling that they are just born, time already past enough for both to attend.
Cindy just became 4 months old on the very first day of this times show and was the youngest in the Kitten Class.
Nisseki Hall is more than double size comparing to the usual show hall and is big enough to have 6 ring in one time.
Totally 12 rings（AB×10、SP×2）were held for this 2 days.
For our 2 girls, every thing was brand new to their world.
Never seen so much people, so much cats, so much something and we were thinking they may be frighten to the would of show.
But they were both themselves and even started to eat when we moved to them to their shelter at the hall!
It looked like them saying "So what?!".
Show started from 10:00.
It was a quite busy day carrying and taking them back again from the shelter to the ring. And I was sure that both had no idea why they were moved back and force!

It was her very first experience to be handled like this with unknown person.
So he left back leg is pushing Ms. Tasaki's chest and the right leg is widely opened!
I assume she was really nervous at this point!
Even like this she received BOB 1st and joined the final.
This was really a time to remember. I was really happy to deliver this wonderful news to her breeder.

The number of MC kittens were 5 and total number of the kittens were around 20.
So only 5 kittens are selected for the final and comparing the oldest in the class, there is almost 4 month differences. (Kitten Class is for 4months old to under 8 months old)
So sometimes it is difficult to be chosen for really young kittens.
But anyway she made it!
After this, she received the AB 2nd Kitten, so glad for me.
This times attendant kittens were all beautiful and great, especially the short hairs.
I personally was feeling there may be no chance for our girls...
And at Ms. Doi's SP ring, Sally received the 3rd best kitten.
Wooooooooow! Couldn't find any particular words at that moment.
For Sally, she showed her everything at her first day and looked like she was really tired at the second day.
And also on the second day some fresh members joined and Sally was not selected for final.
But one thing I am sure is she mastered the "Posing" on the judging table;-))))))
This is also a big advance for a 4 moths old girl!!!
As I was in charge of clerk duty, I couldn't see how she was doing at other rings, but I am sure she did her best.
She got another MCBFA (Maine Coon Breeders and Fanciers Association)リpurple ribbon on the second day.
This was given to the MC at each ring depending by each judges felling, "My choice". Not by the rating.
It is nice to be selected which means "You left some kind of impression in me".
Sally was really easy to shampoo and dry.
By drying her using cool wind switch she seems to love dryer.
Always happy, loves people and cats, having this kind of 2 days experience was really fun for us. Really enjoyable 2 days being together.
We have no plan about her next show for Kitten Class but planning to show her at Championship.
Anyway I really want her to enjoy her daily life as the young one.
She is one of our future queen and until that day comes, I want her to have fun as much as she can.
Sally, thank you for attending the 2 days Show.
Even I am exhausted, I am sure you and Cindy are more.
I've already sent this wonderful news of yours to your mom in Shiga pef. and she told me she is very very proud of you!
And from me, I really thank you choosing us as we chose you.We are very happy having you to our family.
You are our proud girl, but it is not because you left a good result at the Show.
It is because "You are you!"
Remember, Show is just a short time thing comparing to your long life and it does nothing to you. You are always what you are and that is the most delightful thing to us.
