キャット・ショー二日目の朝は、曇り。
出かける前に薄日がさして来たので、少しは暖かいのかなと思いながら外に出ましたが風があり、やはり寒い朝でした。
久しぶりの二日連続のショー、眠さと寒さで猫達も人間も元気は今ひとつ。
日曜日の早朝ということもあり、高速はガラガラ、ちょっと遅めに出たにもかかわらず余裕の到着。
The Second day of the JCL Cat Show was cloudy and chilly.
Was better than the day before but spring seems to be still far away.
2 days show was the second time for Cindy and Jeff, and as all were sleepy, no one was having motivation...
ショー：シンディ編
昨日、気乗りしないにも関わらず好成績を収めたシンディ。
今日も変わらず文句を言っていました。
連続参加によるシャンプーのため、コートがちょっとくたびれてしまった状態。
次回のシャンプーはリンス程度にしとく必要性を感じました。
昨日は帰宅してから大好きなササミを一本たいらげ、心行くまで水を飲んだため、ラフの毛も割れてしまった状態。
どうみても、寝起きっぽい状態。
会場でドライシャンプーの使用も考えたのですが、ご機嫌斜めのところにパウダーを振り掛けたら余計にややこしくなると思い素直に断念。
出来る範囲でコートにクシをいれて、いざ出陣。
7つのリングはAB6、SP1で、AB1リングとSPは絶対にファイナルには残れない予想でした。
これは、シンディの過去の成績の結果からほぼ確実だったのですが、やはり予想どおりでした。
残る5リングはファイナルに残ることができ、JCL第80回キャット・ショーは無事に終了。
シンディも両日で大分アワード・ポイントを伸ばすことができました。
今期彼女が参加する予定のショーも後4回ほど。
彼女とわれわれ、双方多少息切れ気味で、1匹＆2人4脚のペースが若干乱れ気味。
残った各ショーを、楽しみながら過ごして行きたいところです。
Cat Show: Cindy’s case
Yesterday, even was not highly motivated, Cindy won all the finals.
For the second day she was still complaining.
Being groomed every weekend, her coat is becoming a bit rough and lost a bit of shiny taste.
Next times shampoo has to be lighter to avoid further damage.
Yesterday she ate her favorite chicken breast meat and drank and played with water. So here neck became shaggy and looked like she just woke up.
Thought of using the dry shampoo at the show hall but she were not in a good mood and gave up this idea.
Well so, did the combing as much as possible, we started to show her.
2 out of 7 rings, we already knew that she won’t win the finals.
This was expected from the past results and became true.
Other 5 she was chosen and she won total 12 rosettes by this 2 days.
This helped a lot to increase her award point.
Both Cindy and us are becoming bit tired at this point and we still have 4 more shows to attend.
It must be the time to take deep breath and prepare our condition again!
今回のショー、主催者の鶴岡ジャッジがサイベリアンのブリーダーでもあり、たくさんのサイベリアンを一度に見ることができました。
サイベリアンも、ノルウェージャンと同じで、三歳ぐらいで大人として完成する猫種。
控えケージに一列に並んで入っている姿は、壮観でした。
その他長毛猫ではラグドールの参加も多く、こちらも一列に並んでいるとそれぞれの個性が見えるような気がして、勉強になりました。
短毛種の猫さん達も仕上がりがまた素晴らしく、昨年度から引き続きチャンピオンシップに参加している子もいました。
短毛であるゆえに、骨格や筋肉の付き具合、しまり具合が目に見え、美しい彫刻を眺めるような楽しさもあります。
一般審査の時点から、長短関係なく誰がファイナルに残ってもおかしくない顔ぶれの猫達ばかり。
年度末に近づいてくると、アワードの順位も絡んでくるためちょっと緊張してきます。
This time show was quite interesting.
As the Club owner Ms. Tsuruoka is not only the TICA Judge but also the Siberian’s breeder, many Siberians were attending.
As they grow with long time span it was wonderful to see some full coat adults and the colors.
Also quite number of Ragdolls were attending it was really interesting and was a good chance to learn about the breed.
All the attending cats were well groomed and were showing what they have, any one of them could be chosen for the finals. This may be the high-light season for most of them are aiming the award of this year.
次回からは、ジェフはもう一緒ではありません。（もっとも、オス、メスなので一緒のテントに居たわけではないのですが）
3月24日に大田区産業プラザで開催されるSCCのショーが次に参加する予定のショー。
次はどんな表情を見せてくれるのか・・・
とにかくそれまでの2週間弱は、勝手きままにゆっくりしていられます。

Cindy was a bit more unpleasant than usual; I hope she gets more relaxed for the next time.

Next show Cindy will attend is the one day show to be held on 3/24 at PIO in Ota-ku, Tokyo.
How shall she show herself? Hope her “Actress spirit” to be back!!!
Any way she has 2 weeks to feel free!
