CREDOのショーには、もちろんシンディも参加しました。
今回のショーはチャンピオンシップが37頭。
ファイナル入賞50本まで、後二本のところまでは来ているのですが
参加している面々、どの子もそれぞれの猫種の個性が前面に出ていて
やはり後二本が取れない気がします。
ちょっと気後れしてしまった気分で、またもや武士道のリングを中心に審査を見ながら
「こんなことで良いわけないな・・・」と後ろめたい思いを抱いていました。
意を決して（というと大げさではありますが）三つ目の審査からシンディのリングを中心にしようと決意して
審査待機中のケージの中のシンディを見ると・・・
そこには毅然と胸を張って前を見ているシンディがいるではないですか！
ちょっと手を振ってみたら、こちらに気づき、まっすぐな視線で見詰め返してきました。
まるで、
「やっと来たわね。 そこからしっかり見ているのよ」
と言わんばかりの眼力で。
審査台に乗せられたシンディは、多少文句を言っていたもののジャッジのチェックを受け入れ、持ち上げられればポーズを取るなど、十分すぎるほどに自分自身をアピールしていました！（笑）
そして、そのリングではBOBの一番を取り、ファイナルで2位を頂戴しました。
今回のチャンピオンシップのMCも流行かと思うほどレッド系のみ。
似たような色のMCだけでなく、長毛、短毛問わずどの子も精鋭、今年度の最後に向かって気合の入った顔ぶればかり。
見ているだけで楽しくなる光景ではあるのですが、さすがにショーにも飽きてきてしまった様子のシンデイがどうなるのか気がきではないのも確か。
2日間で14リングへの参加。 途中でガマンの限界に来るかもと内心ドキドキもしていました。
傍でずっと見ていたのが功を奏したのか、シンディはいつもの彼女のままでした。
猫じゃらしへの反応もいつもどおりで、ジャッジが振る猫じゃらしにピッ、ピッと素早く反応し、隙あらば奪いさろうとする動作も健在でした。
初日、二日目とコングレスもあり、それにも出陳のみという形ではありますがしっかり参加してくれました。
ショー直前に何回目かのヒートも来たのですが、ケージの中でクネクネすることもありませんでした。
武士道とのショーも今回で終わりました。
ジェフと一緒に参加した時もありました。
次回の週末の2日間のショーはシンディと私の二人っきりの参加です。
3ヶ月前にショーにデビューした時はわが家からの参加はシンディ一匹でした。
最後の千秋楽はスタートと同じ、そしてお供の人間はわたしだけ。
舞台袖で娘の最後の晴れ舞台を祈る気持ちで眺めるステージママのような気がします。
女の子で3ヶ月よく頑張ってくれました。
わが家から女子で初のSGCのタイトル保持者が生まれました。
"女の子"ということでは初めて尽くしの経験をシンディと共有し楽しむことができました。
父猫のRW SGC Chatile Edward of Popokilaniと母猫のWilliamina Wendy of Popokilaniから生まれた一人子のCindy。
自分の輝ける場所と時間をしっかりと見つけ出してくれました。
さあ、最後の舞台へは、私が彼女をエスコートします！
どのような舞台になろうと、最後の一瞬まで彼女が“女優シンディ”として輝けますように！
金曜日は一人シャンプーなので、正直若干不安です（汗々）が、めったにあるわけではないのでそれも楽しんでしまおうかと思っています。
いよいよ、本当の最後。
シンディ、お付き合いのほどよろしく！
CREDO Cat Show was another tough show for Cindy to attend.
The show itself had totally 68 cats/kittens.
Total of 14 rings + 2 congress.
For Championship, 32 were attending and there were 4 MC and there color were all red or cream.
It is quite unusual to see no brown or silver.
Since Cindy started to attend the Champion Class from end of this Jan. I haven't seen so much of a basic color.
Anyway, Cindy was again the only MC female.
She was like surrounded with "big Red guys.
As I wrote before, Cindy earned 48 finals and we were expecting 2 more to fill the max count of her annual points.
When we decided to take her to the show the reason was very simple.
"Have a pro shot!"
As we love our cats/kittens to be photographed we simply wanted hers too.
Cindy’s show result was really good and she became “One Show Grand”.
So we decided to aim for higher title, but give up any time when she starts to refuse going.
It was a quite surprise that we came to knew she love show (I think).She was like an actress striking the pose at the judging table.
It looked like she knew how to show herself.
And day by day she looked more confidence in herself.
Cindy was a bit hard type girl to deal with before.
She hated to be pad, never purred to humans and always keeping a distance from us.
But she loved the little ones and often was taking care of them when she felt we were not watching.
She was a little bit difficult type to deal with.
Was like saying,
“No mercy on me!”
Her mother was a good mother but not devoting herself to her child 100%.
There are some sweet pictures I have taken but after that shot they were always fighting.
And her mom took care of others more often then her own child.
So I really appreciate Aunt Scarlett taking care of Cindy with her own litter quite often.
So when we first shampooed and groomed her for the show, it was like some kind of a battle.
She was really unpleasant and was fighting with us, dryer, combs… even with the towels.
I remember I thought “This is the beginning and the end of her show career. And maybe no chance to show her even we’re at the hall”
But when the show started she was still hissing a bit and may be a bit afraid of not knowing what is going to happen.
And the thing happened to her just clicked her switch.
On the judging table at least judge and us were paying full attention to her.
It looked like it was the very thing she was longing for.
Attending the cat show changed Cindy a lot.
She became friendlier to humans and looks like she found her own reason to be with us.
Attending the show every weekend should be a big stress but she seemed OK and looked like she knew how to deal with.
She never tried to hide from us in the morning not to go to the show.
She won the highest personal title, TICA SGC and created a new history for us.
We never had a SGC female MC in the past.
She reached 50 finals and may be could become the RW both in All Bread and Long Hair.
She made us really proud by the result she has piled up.
She chose the role of being an actress during these 4 months.
Now this week end is the final stage for her.
At this moment it is not so important if she can win the finals or not.
No others to accompany with only me.
