昨日と今日、2011-2012年度のTICA最後のキャットショーが東日本橋で開かれました。
主催は、Enjoy Cat Clubで第79回目のショーでした。
"Last weekend ECC show was the TICA's 2011-2012 final show.
It was held in Higashi-Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
今年の1月下旬からショーに参加して来たシンディの最後のショーでした。
満８ヶ月になってから参加した通算11回目のショー。
ショーが好きとはいえ、さすがのシンディもくたびれていました。
今回は、相方もお供も連れずシンディと私だけの参加。
前回のショーまでで、アジア地域の全猫種部門のベスト20にたぶん入れるだけのポイントを稼ぐことが出来たと思われているため、正直金曜の夜まで何回か今回のショーを欠席する誘惑にかられていました。
それは、私が風邪を拗らせて咳が止まらなくなっていたこと、武士道の安全で確実な旅立ちで頭が一杯になっていたことや、毎週末に行われるショーに参加して疲れ果ててしまったことなどで、全て私の方の事情でした。
１月末に最初に参加したショーで、シンディの成績が良かったので、「上位の個人タイトルを狙おうか」。
ささやかな欲望（？）によりスタートした参加は、だんだんと私の中で膨らんで行った欲により３.5ヶ月の長さとなってしまいました。
幸にもシンディは体調を崩すこともなく、また“女優”に徹することを楽しんでくれたようで（？）、最高タイトルを早い時期に獲得してしまいました。
参加する度に、幾つかのファイナルに残ることができ、その結果増え続けて行くポイント。
加点上限の50回のファイナルに確実に進んで行ったシンディ。
このクリーム色をした女の子にはずっと”運”という併走者が付き添っていました。
大先輩ブリーダーが出陳していた美しいブラック・スモークの男の子が昨年の12月末でショーを引退（彼は2011-2012年度のTICAアジアのベストMCが確定しています）こと。彼が出続けていればシンディがここまで頑張れることはありませんでした。
それから、スタート時期が1月末で、どんなに頑張っても年度の終わりが4月末迄で終わりの時期がはっきりとしていたこと。
これが年度初めだったら、参加可能な時期が長過ぎて参加計画を練る気にはならなかったと思います。
新しく子猫が生まれていなかったので、ショーに参加しやすかったこと。
小さい事柄まで含めると、まだまだ運が味方をしてくれていることに枚挙のいとまがないくらいです。
また、シンディを応援して下さった方々がいっぱいいらしたこと。
これは、何よりも励みになりました。
シンディのパパやママの実家である、ChtileやWilliaminaの先輩ブリーダー。
ショーでご一緒させて頂いている方達。
皆様本当にありがとうございます。
シンディは皆様のおかげで、無事今日と言う日を迎えることができました。
Also it was the final show for Cindy, who has attended from end of this Jan.
She totally attended 11 shows after becoming 8 months old.
Even loving of showing she also was exhausted.
This time it was only two of us, both has no partners, only she and me.
She earned enough point to become the Asia RW Champion by the last week show so till Friday I was thinking about how to "pass" the final show!
One of the reason was I was coughing quite badly after I caught a cold.
Was really exhausted attending the show each weekend and also filled up with Bushido's safety flight to US.
All the reason was on my side.
Cindy’s debut show result was more than we expected.
She became "One Show Grand" (I thought it was "One Show DGC" but was luck of few points).
We were just hoping to get CH title for her and with this result we started to think of challenging SGC.
She quickly reached SGC and then we became with an idea of challenging the RW, not AB but for Specialty.
Greedy desire of mine started to grow rapidly.
Luckily Cindy never became sick and looked like having fun taking the role of an "Actress" !
Every time she received some rosettes and annual points were increasing accordingly.
This Cream color female was supported by a strong partner "LUCK"!
The famous breeder was showing her Beautiful Black Smoke male at the show, but retired at the end of last year. (He is the Best MC of 2011-2012 in the Asia Region)
If he was still showing, Cindy never had the chance.
And also, as we started showing from this Jan, there were only 3 months to go was a happy issue. If this was from May or even Sep. the goal was too long to imagine. I fell like I can not run the full length marathon!
No new kittens were born was another issue.
So thinking back there were more tiny issues that helped as keep on showing. Really the God of Chance or Lucky was pushing our backs.
But most of all, there were people who were sending cheers to Cindy.
This was the most helpful and strong support for us.
Cindy's mom Wendy's cattery, "Williamina" and daddy Edward's cattery "Chatile".
The breeder and owners we met at the show and lots of friends via FB and our blog stuff.
With every one of your help and warm comments, Cindy finished he career as a Show Cat.
審査の待機ゲージでいつも男の子達の間に位置していたシンディ。
ここ数回は、左にミルクティー君、右にレッド・サンダー君。もうこの光景を見ることはありません。
レッドばかりの参加というのも珍しい限りでした。
彼女の隣りに、わが家のジェフが居たこともありました。
シンディの審査風景を思い出す度に、必ず一緒に頭に浮かぶ光景です。
決して忘れることのない、大事な思い出。

Will never see this sight again.
Only reds attending was the rare scene also. No standard color was to see so much this year.
Next to Cindy, there were times that Jeff was.
So sweet and unforgettable scene.
そして、ジャッジ台の上で、執念と気迫を込めて猫じゃらしを追い続けたシンディ。
彼女の一回目の参加から今回まで、これは変わらぬ姿勢でした。
熱く、真剣なシンディ。 この集中力というか執念は彼女の魅力の一つです。
眼力の鋭さと気の強さは嬉々迫る物があるように感じる時もありますが、大好きな部分でもあります。
ある時は小さい子の顔になり、ある時はヤサグレ顔をして、そして今の自分がどんな気分で、どんな表情を見せつけたいかを知っていて、まるでいくつもの面を取り替えながら自分を表現しているように見えたシンディはわたしの目には“女優”に見えました。（単なる猫の気まぐれというだけのことかも知れませんが・・・）
シンディの105日におよぶ女優生活は無事に幕を降ろしました。
後半は得に「失意のプリンセス」、「囚われの王女」的な役柄を好んでいたように見えましたが・・・
Cindy was always chasing the teaser on the judging table.
This attitude never changed through the show. She was a "Hunter"!
Really hot and always doing her best were the most atracting part of her.
Some time she was looking like a kitten and sometimes behaving suclky.
It was like haveing many masks and changing it according to her feelings of the day or time.
That is why I call her "Actress"! May be the truth is because she is a Cat!
"Cindy of 105 days" finally came to the end!
It looks like Cindy was loving to do the role of “Dark Days Princess”, “Imprisoned Princess” for the latter half of the shows...
何だかんだ言いながらも、ショーの朝になっても隠れること無く堂々とわれわれに捕まって車に乗せられるシンディ。
今回のショーを欠席するなら、今まで継続しての参加を止める機会は他にもあったはず。
人間がくたびれたからと言ってショーを欠席するのは、ちょっと理屈にかなっていないと自分を戒めての最終日でした。
おかげさまで、ファイナルにも残れ、ポイントの書き換えもできました。
そして、ジャッジの先生方や、ショーでよくお会いする方々、猫グッズを販売しているお店の方達に、この一年間のお礼を申し上げることもできました。
最後の最後でヘタレないで良かった・・・ これも正直な感想です。
But she never tried to escape or hide away from us on the very morning of the show.
She was always captured (may be from her point of view, I should use the word “Kidnap”!) so easily and was put into the car.
I felt a bit guilty about not going to the very last show for all the reasons were belonging to me. My reason can be accepted and Cindy’s not was any fair and we headed for the show.
Attending the show brought many good results.
Cindy’s annual points were renewed, had a chance to talk with some of the judges, shop owners selling the teasers etc. at the show. Had enough time to tell “Thank you for this year!”
Was good not giving up attending!
シンディが、日本でショーに参加している間、武士道は相方と一緒にアメリカでのショーに参加。
そして今年の秋にはわがやの新しいメンバーになる予定のPajocoons Sunrise Dream (通称Sunny)はオランダのショーに参加しています。（時差の関係で、今現在日本は夜中ですが、アメリカやオランダは朝とかです）
世界３カ国の週末に、ポポキ・ラニに所縁のある子達がそれぞれに頑張っている。
何とも感慨深い限りです。
年度末、シンディの最後のショーとともに、この不思議な三角関係。
今年も忘れられない年度となりました。
明日は５月1日！
新しい年度の始まりです。
5月の中旬にはアメリカ生れ、アメリカ育ちのCascade Mt. Einsteinを迎えに行きます。
またアルゼンチンに旅立つ武士道、今後の彼の成長も楽しみです。
年度をまたいで、今年は以前にも増して、しばらく猫一色生活になりそうです！

It is amazing that 3 MC’s related to us were showing themselves at 3 different countries, was interesting to me.
Yes very remarkable year end.
Tomorrow is May 1st !
New annual year is to start
In mid of May; we are going to have Cascade Mt. Einstein.
Hope he gets used to Japanese language or otherwise I have to study English pronunciation!!!!
Pajocoons SunrBushido’s from now on in something exciting to hear! Can’t imagine how he is going to be, already beyond above my thoughts! He is planned to attend some shows in South America and wishing the very best for him.
And after 4 months of waiting, we can meet our Sunny at Belgium and take him back to Japan!
Yes! Year 2012-2013 shall be another exciting year for us!
