RW SGC Bushido of Argencoon / RW SGC 武士道

This is the update about a Mainecoon boy, Bushido, crossed the seas and moved to Argentina last year.

It's been more than a year since he moved.
He is our first MC who moved to a far country.

Argenncoon's Oksana, his current mother raised him to a wonderful boy with her love and care.
Oksana and we were in touch via Facebook so we always knew about how he was/is doing.
He became a great father there and attended shows also.

And the result of his Show career is the above picture.
Very wonderful results and we are so happy and proud of him.

But to make it clear, we are not proud because he earned the titles.
We are so proud of him because he is loved by Oksana and her family so much and the titles he got are the "Love Message" form him to Oksana.

Attending the Show is maybe not so much fun for the cats.
So even having a very promised standard feature, if the cat does not prefer Shows he/she may not earn the title.
For Bushido, I think he enjoyed the Show because going out with Oksana was the very fun thing for him.

There must been nothing more than sharing the very precious moment with the one you love.

Congrats to Bushido, Oksana and her family.
Many thanks to  them and team Argencoon (including the vets, and all other).

Wish the very best for all of their future to continue as a very serious and thoughtful breeder.

Again we would like to say we are happy and proud knowing Oksana and her family.

We would also like to send many thanks to Carlos Lopetz  who took care of everything about Bushido.

この写真は、2012-2013年の武士道のショーで得た最終結果です。

昨年4月の末に、わが家から地球の反対側に引っ越して行った武士道。
あれからすでに一年以上が過ぎました。
アルゼンチンに引っ越してからショーに参加し、また父親にもなりました。

立派な大人猫になり、頑張った成果が写真の結果です。
うれしさと、誇らしさでいっぱいです。

ところで、誇らしいということに関してですが・・・
誇らしいのは彼が賞を受賞したからではありません。
彼が一匹の猫としてここまで家族に愛されるように育ってくれたこと、その愛に応えて健康で穏やかな猫に育ってくれたこと。
素晴らしいパートナーとの間に、素晴らしい子猫達を設けてくれたこと。

アルジェンクーンのオクサナとそのご家族に、あらためておめでとうと感謝の意を捧げます。
そして、この縁を取り持ってくれたカルロス・ロペス氏にも。

武士道の最高の猫生は、海の向こう側で見事に花開き、結実しました。

Koharu's Diary Part 4 /心晴（こはる）君便り パート4

7ヶ月になった心晴の画像を送信します。
太い腕をだらりとさせて食卓の上でくつろいでいるところと、冷蔵庫の前に陣取って空腹を訴えているところです。
体重は4.6kg(9/13)。

最近は喧嘩ごっこがお気に入りで、人間の腕を抱え込んで、本気で猫キックと噛み噛み攻撃。

その姿はライオンみたいで、怖いくらい・・・。

Attached are the photos of Koharu, now 7 months old.
Relaxing with thick arms down and laying in front of the fridge and asking for his dinner.
Now he is 4.6kg (9/13)
These days he loves wrestling and holds our arm and do the kick kick and starts to bite.
Looks like a lion and some times a bit fearful...

今日は台風の雨音が怖くて、明け方から鳴いてウロウロ。
午前中一杯不安げな様子でしたが、朝ご飯もおやつもしっかり食べました。

Today he was scare of the sound of the rain of the typhoon. Was weeping from the dawn.
Looked anxious in the morning time but ate all of his meal and treats. 

心晴君、もう7ヶ月になりました。
早いものです。
去勢手術も無事に済ませたのとのことで、一安心です。

心晴君ももう高校生に近い年齢になってきたので、体力を持て余し気味なのかもしれません。
元気に成長している姿を見れるのは、うれしい限りです。

幸いにも、心晴君と兄弟の賢匡君、寛将君の姿もFacebookで見られるので、元気で幸せに暮らしていることがわかります。

こんなに可愛がって幸せに暮らしていること。
本当に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
もう、わが家で一緒に暮らした頃より、今のお家の方が長くなっています。

心晴君白い靴下がピカピカで素敵だよ！


Koharu is now already 7 months old.
Has finished his surgery and now is neutered.

He is now at the age of mid-teen so may be has too much energy at this moment.
Still is is a pleasure to know that he is living his happy life.

Luckily, we are able to see Koharu and his littermate Toshimasa and Hiromasa by email and FB.

They are all happy boys living with their best ones.
Thank you to the both family for loving and taking care of them.
Now it is becoming longer living in their forever loving home than the days they spent with us.

TICA 2012-2013 Award Party in Bellevue (for International Winners)

TICAのアニュアルパーティーは、8月31日に、ベルビューのヒルトンホテルのボールルームで開かれました。

TICA 2012-2013 Award Party was held at Hilton Hotel in Bellevue, Seattle.

今回のショーのロゴである、”トーテム・キャット”のモチーフが印刷されたプログラム。
非常に印象深いデザインで、アメリカにおけるベルビューの歴史的背景を見事に象徴しています。

This is the logo of the "Totem Cat" which is very impressive. It clearly shows the history of this city. I love this!

各、インターナショナル・ウィナーに授与されるロゼットをガラスの盾。
ライトを反射して浮かび上がる様子は、流れる滝のようでもあり、美しい氷のオブジェのようでもあり・・・
ロゼッタの色と相まって、クラシックな美が演出されていました。

These are the Rosette and the plaque for the International winners.
Reflection of the light looked like a water fall... Was really beautiful scene watching these displayed widely.

壇上にならぶ各リージョンのダイレクター。

All the Regional Directors were at the stage! So nice to know their faces!

パーティーで同じテーブルにいらした大泉ジャッジと服部ジャッジ。
服部ジャッジは、アワード・ショーで招待ジャッジとして参加されていました。
大泉ジャッジは、草場さんと一緒にアワードの受賞者としてパーティーに出席されていました。

I was with Ms. Oizumi, Mr. Hattori.
Mr. Hattori was invited for the Award Show as a Judge and Ms. Oizumi was attending the party as a International Winner with her sister Ms. Kusaba.

そして、個人的にどうしてもお会いしたかった、サニーの実家のPajocoonsのWimとMJご夫妻とMJの妹さんご夫婦。

サニーが日本のわが家で元気に暮らしていること、サニーの子供達のこと・・・
もちろん、昨年ベルギーにお邪魔した時に大変お世話になったことのお礼もあらためて伝えさせていただきました。

Would like to introduce The "Pajocoons" member!

2nd form the left is: Wim Stratesman, the breeder of Pajocoons. He is one of the famous MC Cattery living in Belgium. And next is his wife Marie-jeanne (a God Mother of Pajocoons).

It was almost a year since I first met them I really wanted to tell all how Sunny is doing. And thank fully I had a chance to chat with Wim for quite a long time!

There are still so much I would like to write... but let it pass for the next chance...

TICA 2013 Annual Cat Show

TICAの2013年のアニュアル・キャット・ショーは、8/31-9/1の二日間開催されました。
わが家からも猫を連れて行く予定だったのですが、直前でスケジュールの都合がつかなくなり、私だけが見学に行って来ました。

ワシントン州のベルビューは比較的雨の多い場所なのですが、今年はお天気に恵まれた日々が続いていたとのことでした。
抜けるように青い空と、湿度とは無縁の気候。

さて、見学となってしまった今回のショーですが、エントリー・フィーだけは払い込んであったので来た思い出にとロゼッタを二頭分おみやげにもらって来ました。

会場は、宿泊先のヒルトンホテルからシャトルで５分ほどのMEYDENBAUER Center.

展示会等に使用する会場なので、すごく広く、東京蒲田のPIOの会場4つ分はあると思います。

リング数は全部で12。

6リングづつが背中合わせになっていて、参加猫は初日に六つのリングの審査とファイナルを受け、2日目に残りの6つを受ける形式となっています。

つまり、各日とも12人のジャッジが同時進行で審査を行っているわけです。

日本からは、服部ジャッジが参加され、2日間に渡り450頭を超える数の猫達の審査をされていました。

会場には、いろいろなお店が出ていました。

ニューブリード等についてティーチ・インするTICAのブースも。

ちゃんと参加すればいろいろ勉強になるのですが、今回も私の中の勤勉の虫は爆睡していたようです！（笑）

この写真のメインクーンの女の子は、アインの母違いの妹。
風貌がわが家のさつまに似ていました。
この子のオーナさんもブリーダーで、非常に懇意にしていただいています。

優しい目で猫達を見るジャッジさんという印象を受けました。

ロイヤルカナンのブースで説明を担当するジェイミー・クリスチャン氏。

昨年のアニュアルで大変お世話になりました。

わたしのことも覚えていてくれました♪

陽気でまわりを笑わせてくれる、楽しい人です。

実は彼はTICAのジャッジでもあります。

控えケージの乗っている台は高さがあるので、猫の出し入れも楽そうです。

が、小柄だとちょっと高過ぎるようでもありましたが・・・

何故かホテルの駐車場にはSturdi Productsのトレーラーが。
今回のショーのスポンサー（？）ということも関係あるのでしょうか？

ショー参加者にはもれなく今回の“トーテム・キャット”の刺繍ワッペン付きのSturdi Productsのバッグが付いてきます。
これは、中々いいおみやげ。
中には、ペットボトルの水や、猫のおもちゃ、ミニちりとりと箒セットや人間用のおやつが入っています。
出陳料払ってこれだけのおみやげが付いてくれば、中々満足です（笑）

今回のショーのカメラマンとし山崎哲氏と裕子夫妻もいらしていました。

相方無しで来ている私を気にして二回もご飯に誘って頂きました。
いつもお世話になっております。
この場を借りてあらためてお礼申し上げます。

おみやげは、See'sのキャンディ！
山盛り買ってお店の方には喜ばれましたが、スーツケースに入れるのにかなり苦労orz

会うべき人達、会いたかった友達にも会え。
わが家の猫達を連れて行けなかったのが返す返すも残念ではありますが、こんなこともあるのかも知れないと・・・

”予定は未定にして、決定にあらず”

いつかまた猫を連れて来れたらいいなと・・・ちょっと後ろ髪を引かれるショーでした。

ヴェルダンディ・・・

ヴェルダンディは、ブルー・スモーク・トーティーの女の子です。

ブルーに煙罹った毛色を持っています。

自分の意志をしっかり持っている賢い子で、わが家の女子／元女子君団の中の三賢者の中のひとり。

冷静と秩序を司るイメージを持つ彼女は、意外にも若い女子から慕われています。

年上の猫に敬意を払うさつまに祝福を与える（？）ヴェルw

いつも俯瞰でものを見ているような、姿勢を取ることが多いようです。

何故か、小さい子に“しゃーっ！”洗礼を浴びせられていましたw
さすがに冷静と秩序を司るだけあって、まったく動じていませんでした。

IKEAのベッドはジャストフィット。

今も、スリム。
太るということとは無縁のようです。　＞うらやましい！

Maggie! Maggie! Maggie! / マギー！マギー！マギー！

マギー・・・
ルースとロイ、アレックスとレオ君達の母親。

グリーンの目を女の子です。

懐かしい写真を引っ張り出して、並べてみました。

８月の末で3歳になりました。
人の体をフミフミするのが大好きな彼女。
彼女にフミフミをされるとデットクス・マッサージを受けているような気分になります。

Kittens born in April / 4月生れの子猫達

早いもので4月生れの子猫達も生後4.5ヶ月になりました。
4月に生まれたのは、シンディとサニーの4匹とスカーレットとアルフォンスの二匹の子供達。

1週間違いの子供達。

シンディの4匹は、ブラウンクラシック・トービーの女の子が3匹に、レッド・クラシックタビーの男の子が1匹。

今回のシンディの子供達のあだ名は”ぴー”が付く名前でした。

男の子の“あかぴー”はサム君となって新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

Well... time really flys..
The kittens born in April is now already 4.5 months old.
4 kittens are from Cindy x Sunny and 2 from Scarlet x Alphonse.

Cindy's delivered 2 brown torbie girs, one brown torbie/white and one red/white boy.
The red/white boy got his new name "Sam" and has moved to his new forever living home.

残った三匹娘の、“でかぴー”、“くろぴー”と“そくぴー”それぞれの未来も決まりました。

わが家に残るのは“そくぴー”だけ。

この写真は、“でかぴー”。

優しげな顔をしたトービーの女の子です。

とても気の優しい女の子で、父違いのちびたすお姉さんに可愛がられています。

Cindy's litter are all reserved now.
Brown torbie/white girl is staying with us.
Below picture is the torbie girl with her half sister aka Chibitus.

さて、わが家に残ることになっている、こちらが“そくぴー”。

兄弟姉妹の中で、唯一の白靴下履き。

性格はかなり母親似のうようです。

コートの色は、パパから綺麗な明るいブラウンの色を受け継いでいます。

This is the girl staying with us.
She is the biggest of the litter.
Received the very beautiful coat color from her daddy Sunny.

そくぴーの正式な名前は、ナタリー。

妙に堂々としたタイプの女の子です。w

Her name is now Natalie. (from Natarie Portman)

Looks like received a strong character of Cindy! lol

さて、スカーレットとアルフォンスの2匹の子供達。

こちらのカップルからはブラウンの男の子と女の子が生まれました。

女の子は、8月に新しいお家に引っ越して行きました。

Scarlet delivered 2 brown tabbie kittens.

One boy and one girl.
The girl moved to our breeder friend home in Japan where her uncle also lives.

She may attend the  TICA Show in the near future.

予定では、スカーレットもアルフォンスも引退。

彼らの最後の子供がわが家に残ることになります。

仮名”おおきいちゃん”の名前は現在思案中。

名前付け係は相方担当で、「アルフレッド・・・」、「アイザック・・・」などと横で呟いています。

Scarlet and Alphonse are now to retire by this year.

The boy form this couple is going to stay with us.

He yet has not have his name yet...

Yasuyuki is now thinking of the name now...

Alfred... Isaac... have to wait for his final decision...  

小柄な男の子ですが、手足は大きいので、ゆっくり大きくなっていくタイプかと思います。

He is not big at this moment but has a big hands.
Looks like just needs a bit longer time to develop his body. 

今年は現役を引退する子が何匹か出る予定です。
新しいご家族を募集する大人猫がいるかと思います。

※　アルフォンスはわが家で生まれた子なので、本来は新しいご家族を捜す所ですが、彼はアインの心の友なのでこのままわが家に住み続けてもらうことになっています。

大人猫にとって、新しい家を捜すのが良いのかどうかはその子の性格次第ですが、一番幸せで居続ける方法を考えなければと思っています。

This year we are planing to let some retire, a bit much more than usual.
But Alphonse will continue to stay with us for he is the soulmate of Ein.

No more available kittens  right now but may wait for the family looking for adults.

TICA 2012-2013 ASIA Regional Award Party

TICA ASIA Regional Awards Partyが8月25日の日曜日に、水天宮のロイヤルパークホテルで開かれました。

今年は、受賞者の呼び出し役で、少しだけお手伝いさせていただきました。

TICA ASAI Regional Award Party was held at Royal Park Hotel, Suitengu, Tokyo.
I attended the party for reading out the prize winner.

朝の9時前に、会場に到着。
まだセッティング途中の会場を見るのも中々楽しいものがあります。

Arrived at the hall around 9:00 in the morning.
It was interesting to see the settings.

綺麗に配置された丸テーブル。
臙脂色のナプキンが、足元の絨毯にマッチしていてクラシックな雰囲気を醸し出していた会場。

Round tables were well seted and the dark red napkin were beautifully matched to the carpet.

今回はカメラを持っていかなかったので、全て携帯での写真撮影。
あまり数を撮らないままパーティーがは進んで行きました。

I did not bring my Nikon this time so the solution of the photos are not good but enough to keep my memories clear.

SGCになったアインシュタインのロゼッタ。
長野で開かれたECCのショーでもらったベスト。
故郷のアメリカの森を彷彿させる景色を見て、本来の快活さを取り戻してくれた気がします。
遠い国から来てくれて、一緒にショーに参加してくれて。
SGCへの挑戦という宿題も無事クリアしてくれました。
その証のSGCのロゼッタ、しっかり受け取って来ました。

This is the rosette for Cascade Mtn. Einstein being SGC.
In japan, SGC titled cats owners can receive the  big rosette by attending Awards Party.
Ein became SGC at the ECC show held in Nagano Prefecture.
I believe being in Nagano Ein found something that reminds him his own country.
May be the forest and the rainy weather, smell of the trees made him realax from bottom of his heart.

He came to us from a far country and attended the show with us.
And he cleared his misson to become SGC.
Yes, I surrey received the rosette that he earned.

そして、通称カッパとリーボックも“ブラウン・クラシック・トービー”のカラー部門でベストと3位の賞状をいただきました。

この子達にとってキャット・ショーは何だったのでしょうか・・・
われわれと一緒に過ごした時間が楽しかったものであることを祈りつつ・・・

And aka Kappa and aka Reebok was prized by color.
"Brown Classic Torbie" Best and3rd.

What was the Cat Show for our member...?
I really hope they enjoyed the time with us...
