うにちゃん（旧名：かっぱ）のママから嬉しいお便りといっぱいの写真が届きました！
”鉢かつぎ姫”をとっくに卒業して、穏やかな幸せそうな顔のうにちゃん。
うにちゃんは、5歳を過ぎてから今のご家族のもとに巣立ちました。のんびりとくつろいだ表情を見ていると幸せな出会いだったとあらためて感じてます。
大人になった子と暮らすことは、決してハードルの高い物ではないなと…
子猫のような無邪気さは無いかもしれませんが、形成された性格を受け入れてさえもらえれば、いい関係が作れるのだと思います。
Just received an update photo and a email from Uni (aka Kappa)'s mom about her now days! So glad to see her relaxing at her forever home. She looks very relaxed and I am so happy that she is fitting in very well.
To move to a new family after becoming an adult, some people may be anxious. Yes, most of the time, kitten(s) may be easy to fit in but... so is adult. Just "do not expect too much" may be the key to welcome an adult. "Accept as he/she is" and then cat(s) will do the same... is what I believe.

うにの６歳の誕生日を過ぎてからのお便りとなり、すみません。
最近の様子をお知らせします。
Hi,
Uni now became 6 years old and sorry for not writing to you in time. Would like to let you know these days of her.
うには夏にトリミングを行い、一度さっぱりしました。
Uni had her coat(hair)do and was looking tidy.
今はだいぶ毛も伸びてきて、冬支度に入っています。
毛が長くても短くても、全体のバランスや座っている姿がとても麗しく、 やはり美人だなあと見とれてます（笑）
Now her coat is coming back and looks like preparing for the coming Winter.
No matter her coat is short or full, her proportion is so nice and I just can't stop feeling how beautiful she is. LOL
あと、最近、うには人の作業を見守ってくれる子なんだなと気づきました。
台所で家事をしていると近くでじっと見ていたり、私がＴＶを見ていると横にいたりと、そっとそばにいてくれます。
うにのやさしい性格に家族一同癒されています。

And recently I noticed that she is a type that looks over us. She watches what I am doing at the kitchen, sits besides me when watching TV. Her gentleness really heal us all
また、ちくわともよい距離感で過ごしてくれているようです。一緒にソファーの上で毛づくろいをしている姿をよく見かけます。いただいた丸クッションもお気に入りのようです。クッションで一緒に寝る日も近いかも！？と内心期待しています（笑） 秋も深まり寒くなってきますが、お体に気をつけてお過ごしくださいませ。またお便りいたします。
ＰＳ：誕生日はちゅーるでお祝いをしました。
Also she is good with Chikuwa (NFL). Keeping a good distance and I often see them grooming each other on the couch. And also likes the round cushion you gave us. May be in near days they may share that cushion!? is my little desire. LOL
The season has changed to Autumn and now becoming cold these days so please take care. Will be in touch.

Uni is really a copy of her mom Judith. Just the coat color difference! LOL
Would really like to thank to the M family for updating us with the happy photos. I especially like the one with the young boy and Uni.
